RAJKO MAKSIMOVIĆ Kad su živi zavideli mrtvima

Dakle evo nama opet dobre stare klasične muzike inspirisane Revolucijom 1941. godine koja je dovela do stvaranja JUGOSLAVIJE onakve kakve smo je poznavali dugi niz godina.

Rajko Maksimović je tada bio mladi kompozitor, očigledno pun poleta i volje da urade nešto lepo i novo.

RAJKO MAKSIMOVIĆ Biography

Born in 1935 in Belgrade, Yugoslavia. He had completed his studies in composition in 1961 with prof. Predrag Milosevic at the Academy of Music in Belgrade (now: FMU). Master's degree in 1965. He spent a year at the Princeton University (N.J. - USA) through the Fulbright program. There he was mainly concerned with the electronic music.
       1963 he was appointed as the assistant professor for Composition; later on (1967) the associate professor for Harmony & Counterpoint; now he is a full professor for Composition & Orchestration at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade (retired).
       His works have been awarded prizes and performed throughout Serbia as well as abroad. Two such performances should be particularly pointed out:
- The Saint Prince Lazarus Passion at the "Semaines Musicales" in Tours (Fr) '89.
- Testament of P.P. Njegos, the Bishop of Montenegro at the World's Festival of Orthodox Music in St. Petersburg '96.
       Rajko Maksimovic had three whole-evening concerts of his works (Monographic Concerts) - in 1987, 1996 and 2006.
       Most of his major works were recorded on LP records and lately on CDs, a triple CD in 2002 and two more CDs in 2009 - all by PGP RTS production.
       TV Novi Sad made in 1995 a 50 minutes film about Rajko Maksimovic and his works.
       He wrote and published an autobiographical-memoirist trilogy That's the Way It Was (1998, 2001, 2002) and in 2008 in cooperation with Milos Jevtic - The Speech of Music.

Zanimljivo je da u ovoj biografiji nema ovog dela posvećenog revoluciji kojih on ima još.
