RAJKO MAKSIMOVIC 1979 Buna na dahije



Dakle ovo je poznati kompozitor Jugoslavije RAJKO MAKSIMOVIĆ koji se ovde predstavlja sa klasičnim delom BUNA PROTIV DAHIJA.

Gospon MAKSIMOVIĆ je bio ovde tek mladi kompozitor, ali JUGOSLAVIJA ima sluha za ovakve kompozitore i posvećuje im diskografska izdanja. Ovo nije jedina njegova ploča biće ih ovde još. Nedavno je ovaj poznati kompozitor slavio godišnjicu u Beogradu.


RAJKO MAKSIMOVIĆ

Born in 1935 in Belgrade, Yugoslavia. He had completed his studies in composition in 1961 with prof. Predrag Milosevic at the Academy of Music in Belgrade (now: FMU). Master's degree in 1965. He spent a year at the Princeton University (N.J. – USA) through the Fulbright programme. There he was mainly concerned with the electronic music.
Since 1963 he was appointed as the assistant for Composition; later on (1967) the 'dozent' for Harmony & Counterpoint; finally he is a full professor for Composition & Orchestration at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade (retired).
His works have been awarded prizes and performed throughout the country as well as abroad.
So far he has had three whole-evening concerts of his works (Monographical Concerts) – in 1987, 1996 and 2006 – in the prestigeous Kolaratz Hall.
Most of his major works were recorded on LP records and lately on CDs, particularly a triple CD as well as two singles in PGP RTS production.
TV Novi Sad made in 1995 a 50 minutes film about him and his works.
He wrote and published an autobiographical-memoiristic trilogy That's the Way It Was (1998, 2001, 2002) and The Speech of Music (answering questions of Milos Jevtic) in 2008.
